I founded Operational Health Strategy to help New Zealand businesses navigate the increasingly complex world of workplace health.
I am a registered nurse with extensive occupational health experience developed over 30 years in workplace and clinical environments. My background includes occupational health clinic management, primary healthcare, medical surveillance, fitness-for-work and return-to-work assessments, employee health education and workplace health support.
My experience has included working with employers, employees, healthcare providers and health and safety professionals across a range of industries. This has given me a strong understanding of the need to balance employee wellbeing, workplace safety, operational requirements and an employer's responsibilities.
Today, I bring that clinical experience into practical occupational health consultancy. My aim is to simplify complex health situations and help organisations make informed, fair and workable decisions.
